I was hoping for a UHD, but I'll take it. I was 11 when this released and caught it on TV not too long after and it scared the shit out of me. Now, I just find his story fascinating.

Already blew $30 on the Aussie import (which had an impressive array of extras), so I'm good. Nice that it's being released in the U.S., though.

If it’s the same transfer then pass unless they license the extras from the overseas release

Good news, Ballyhoo just tweeted about the release, and basically implied that their special features will be included with it. They're the ones that did the extras for the Imprint release.

I wonder why they didn't go the CE route for this. Maybe because the extras are technically ports from another release?

I already own a copy that Imprint released, however I'm down to double dip on this one, even if it's the same disc. I love Fire in the Sky and though it's a slow moving film, it's worth sitting through till the final moments of the film that is pure nightmare fuel! The whole abduction scene is right up there with The Exorcist for me personally. And it's got Henry Thomas and Robert Patrick in it.

Been waiting for this on Blu. This and The UFO Incident getting a release on the same day has me excited. Hopefully as time goes on, they will have updates about the transfer, and extras.
