So apparently the French releases here are Region Free? At least that's what it says on the back:

Know the other releases like in the UK are region locked so I'm wondering if it was an error on the cover or for some reason France decided to forgot the lock. Can anyone confirm it?

FYI: The "ABC" would apply to the Blu-ray disc. UHDs are supposed to be region free per spec, although some are not.

This is from Studio Canal and the audio and subtitles match their U.K. release so I’m 99% certain they share the same discs.

That means UHD is region free and BD is RB locked.

All the extras are on the UHD as well as the BD so you can still watch if all you can play is the UHD.
