Audyssey microphone question

Alright I have no idea if this is the right place to post this, so if its not could a mod move it please.

So I got my first receiver today, Onkyo 605, bought it from a guy on another forum, everything seems to be good, accept it didn't come with the Audyssey mic. Is this available to buy anywhere? and if not is there another mic that will work?

not sure where you can get a replacement mic, but maybe you can contact onkyo directly for assistance.

Dumb question maybe, but I assume you tried contacting the Seller to see if misplaced it before shipping?

If not, I had the TX-SR 505 before my new one, and it still has the Audyssey Mic in the box. If Onkyo isn't able to help you, PM me, maybe we work something out.

i checked shop onkyo for a mic for the 605, it was like 13 bucks but doesnt specify audyssey but i cant imagine what else it could be.

Thanks for that info, I ordered 1. I guess the first thing I should have done was check onkyo, but I'm new to the whole high def audio thing and once I saw it wasn't included I did a quick google search and found nothing as far as purchasing options.

Audyssey MIC's are specific to Audyssey products. Contact Onkyo to purchase an exact replacement.
