Default Road Trip 2 - Beer Pong

Heres the unfunny trailer. That naked chick from Friday the 13th 2009 is in it. She played Bree

What a piece of crap.

why?

That's all I got. There's just no reason. I honestly cannot fathom a single person renting or buying that movie.

Thanks, thanks for lowering my faith in humanity.

...yup, pretty much.

Of all the movies to build a franchise off of, Road Trip? It was a funny, one-off movie. Even Van Wilder was a stretch to branch out more movies from, but at least there they had a pool of characters to work with.

Just to clarify, I do not endorse the viewing of any of the American Pie, Van Wilder, or Road Trip sequels without the main cast.

I've stopped caring that they're making these direct-to-video "sequels." I'm not going to watch them but if the studio thinks they can make money off them who cares. It's not like Road Trip was a classic (although I enjoyed it). Although a movie like S Darko does annoy me because from what I've heard it's just a rip-off of the first movie. As for the American Pie sequels I don't know if Universal is trying to make American Pie the new National Lampoon by putting it in front of movies that have no connection to the original films other than the Stifler name and Eugene Levy, who will obviously take any role offered to him.

Another direct to video film, using the name of a popular movie to fool people into renting/buying it.

DJ Qualls is back and so is that mom that Tom Green made out with during the tour. Thats it.

Now if they made a sequel to Euro Trip, that would be cool.

Believe the answer to that last one is "yes", although it's really more the x-producer's idea.
Which pretty much counts for "Road Trip" as a Pie-competing brand to Pie's Lampoon-competing brand, to which the x-producer could sell it to the studio by pointing to a lot of DVD's of the first movie sold with Tom Green's face on the cover.

...Ask the horror fans, when it's a small indie producer, a video-sellable title is all they need to establish a corporate "shelf brand" of direct-video followups; the script or any connection to the original is just decoration.

They just shouldn't make sequels/prequels to Jim Carrey movies in general without Jim Carrey. Ace Ventura Jr., Son of the Mask, and Dumb and Dumberer were horrible, and Evan Almighty wasn't very good either.

I thought Road Trip and Euro Trip were funny as hell. I have the double feature dvd of them. This new abomination is a joke. Let it BURN!
