PayPal fees - Blu-ray Forum

I see a lot of traders charging PayPal fees in their trade threads. How can I check what fee I am charged if someone sends me an amount of money? Thanks for answering my noobish question

paypal fee is usually something like 2.9% of the total amount, you can google a paypal fee calculator as well I think to be exact

Go to PayPals website and look at the terms.

Hello,

The main fee page is this one:

https://www.paypal.com/pt/cgi-bin/we...=_display-fees

And then you get this one, according to your Country:

https://www.paypal.com/pt/cgi-bin/we...ees&countries=

This difer from country to Country.
For instance Portugal they charge
3.4% + €0.35 EUR if you receive money within Europe Country in EURO.
3.9% + €0.35 EUR if you receive money outside Europe Country in EURO.
3.9% + xxx EUR others currency

I thought Paypal had a policy where you can't charge additional fees to absorb their cut? Or did they do away with that?

If you just bump the price of the item up a dollar or two because of Paypal fees, how would they ever know?
