Sony taking advantage of Pride Month basically (same reason Wilde is coming out). It'll be a MOD title.

It is the Unrated Director's Cut also. Here's the cover

I really wish they would have chosen The Opposite of Sex and Broken Hearts Club.

I'd take both, but at least Broken Hearts Club has an HD digital copy -- Opposite of Sex is sadly SD.

As for Love and Human Remains, I've never seen it!

It's literally the only movie I own that doesn't have an HD version.

I LOVE Denys Arcand. Always happy to see some great Quebecois cinema get an HD release.

I gasped and said "oh my God!!!" when I saw this listed. I have been wanting to see this movie again for DECADES. Frankly, after all these years, I don't remember many details about the film -- I just know I loved it.

I love this movie. I feared it would never get a Blu-ray release. I preordered it. I saw a fantastic stage production of the play it's based on too. And the playwright, Brad Fraser, has written a pretty good memoir too.

Watching my copy. Nice transfer: good but not outstanding (I’m no expert but I’d say it’s from an old master); closeups looks the best. The originally grayish cinematography is rendered faithfully but some colors pop, like blood and kids sweaters in the classroom scene. I use to watch this on VHS, then on an awful DVD. This is waaay better. The film starts automatically: there is no menu.
