anyone see this movie? i think it would be sweet if Warner released it on Blu.

I have it on standard def. dvd. Really love the ending.
I know that some people will probably scoff at this, but Val Kilmer is very good in that one.

yeah man. loved the ending. the moby track that played at the end of the film came up on my i-tunes which got me thinking about it.

As much as I'd love to see this get a Blu-ray release, I suspect it's way down on Warner's priority list.

Excellent movie. Val Kilmer is a great actor that doesn't get much credit but once in a while he hooks up with a good director and story. If you like Val Kilmer check out:

-Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang
-Spartan (directed by David Mamet)
-Wonderland
-Tombstone

All of these SHOULD be on Blu-Ray as well.

For my money it gets no better than Val Kilmer as Madmartigan in Willow. A hero in the vein of Han Solo, Jack Burton etc. but in the fantasy setting. Classic.

Salton Sea was a good movie too, only saw it once. Not a day one buy, but would get it after the price dropped.

The Salton Sea was a totally under rated movie. Val Kilmer was fantastic in it...and Vincent Dinofrio as Pooh Bear was AWESOME!

That director showed potential, too bad he went down hill. There were visual ideas/experiments in Saltons sea that could have been expanded on in future movies.

I have never seen the movie, but the feedback on this thread has me interested. I will give it a rental and see how much I enjoy it.

Great movie. I just watched it again the other day, still love it. The first time I watched it I went in knowing nothing about it and was totally blown away. Too bad this got a limited release when it came out at the movies. If this would of had a wide release Im pretty sure we would have this on blu by now.
