Just picked this up at Wal-Mart last night for $19.95. Guess they slipped up since it doesn't get released till next week.

I have heard that it is quite good PQ wise. Very grainy, but true to the film itself.

You're lucky. Been a while since I scene any of the stores in my area breaking the street date on any Blu-Ray's.
Well its only 3 days away to the do date.Cant wait to have one of the greatest movies of all time on High Def.

But the PQ and AQ, they said was decent, especially for an older catalog title-we'll see. Poltergeists pic for an older movie has raised my expectations. One of the best older PQ's I've seen.

Just because it's a used CD/Video store, doesn't mean they only sell used merchandise. I have never in my life seen a store that only sells used movies and music, without selling new titles as well.

I think you people who are expecting an incredible blu-ray for Ghostbusters are going to be disappointed. : I doubt cheesy 80s CGI will hold up well 20 years later in 1080p.

I have picked up a couple of movies early at Wal-mart, but for a catalog it it not a big deal. There are reports that Blockbuster was also selling it early.

got my UK copy today, case is a bit different (not quite up2 par with the US version, also has no cardboard sleeve!) pq wise, i personally think its really good for what it is...its very griany so i can see there being complaints about that but its meant to be there so im fine with it..overall good
