They also have problems with shipping the SB to the stores. I sorta remember that the WINE, MR and GF james bond SB were delayed and didn't make the 'official' release date because of some sort of shipping problem. So that could be it. Or someone beat you to the store and bought them all up to sell privately. That happens too.

the thing that really grinded my gears was i went to the Coquitlam Centre store before they opened for Iron Man and walked in right when the doors unlocked but they were out -_-

was about 5-30mins late for the Metrotown and Boundary store for Indy (guess its explainable for the boundary store but metrotown? -_- ) i got my copy by web order luckily

I guess you just saved me some border crossing fees. Granted I still have some bridge tokens from when I was dating a Canadian girl. Looks like I'll try to order online.

Thats a really steep price, even for Future Shop! I wonder if their going to add some other collectable that they haven't announced yet . Like some postcards, a toy figure, or a comic book or something.

Something in the back of my mind says the price was set to deter, or attempt to deter, the mass buyers. Obviously if the 3 per is already in place after one day, then the strategy did not work.

I think what they might do is start the price high, and as more people purchase, their cost per unit drops and then they can drop their price...
I dunno, just an idea

can we trust their online stock counter? Remaining quantity is at 63 at the moment

Someone should check it regularly.

I remembered a Canadian member mentioned the online quantity does not reflect the individual stores stock though. If it gets to zero, would they replenish the online stock?

Yea, I would think the buy limit would be FS's attempt to deter mass buyers. But the price is still high and considering FS track record of making late annoucements (eg like the last james bond SB) that there's still something else to be disclosed. Just a hunch.

Yesterday you could order as many as you wanted. I put in, but never completed, an order for 100 and the system never stopped me, whereas now they won't let you get past the shopping-cart page with more than 3.

So now they have the limit on they need to decide whether or not to lower the price, but if they do, the have to honor that lower price for all the mass buyers as well...

100?!! wt! lol i was going to put an order in for 10 but i dont like the idea of being stuck with movies, so i just ordered 5

was worried they might cancel an order too if we had too many copies
