USA I, The Jury 3D Blu-ray (1953) [Region A Locked]

I, The Jury has only been released on 3D Blu-ray in the USA, in a combo pack together with the 4K version. The 4K disc is region free but the 3D disc (which also plays in 2D) is Region A locked. All other releases worldwide only include the 2D version.

I, the Jury 4K + 3D Blu-ray

Attention all fans of classic 3D, film noir and the late, great Mickey Spillane! A Must-Buy and Total No-Brainer!

This is another of my "holy grail" titles as well! Missed out on the chance to watch it in Los Angeles a few years ago at one of the 3D movie festivals at the Egyptian.

Really look forward to it!

My second favorite Spillane adaptation (after KISS ME DEADLY). Great film with a wonderful performance by Biff Elliot.

Well, this is a great surprise. I'm sure I'm not the only one that read about the screening in the Golden Age thread yesterday and was bummed thinking I would never see it.

I’m a big fan of these releases using the original poster art, but that book cover would make a fun lenticular (if we’re dreaming anyways…)!

This looks fun, though how screen shattering is this film in practice?

I saw it at the TCM Festival last weekend. There’s strong depth throughout, as befitting a Golden Age title. I remember only the beginning murder and a stereograph near the middle popping off the screen, but they both had the entire audience hooting.

Is a litho cover out of the picture?

I'd shell out a few more clams for that.

Do you happen to know if they showed a 35mm print or a DCP?
