Directorial debut of author Matthew Reilly!

I'll admit, his early books were very entertaining & I always wanted someone to do a movie of Ice Station, but I stopped reading his stuff after Seven Ancient Wonders as he was clearly just phoning it in.

I can't believe someone finally gave him a budget to direct a movie.

Looks just as cheesy & OTT as his novels, albeit on a much smaller scale. Could be fun.

Yeah this looks like something to watch on a Sunday afternoon.

Was sort of OK. Definite B actioner. I was getting pretty annoyed by too much in it though, unlike my normal B movie watches.

I was annoyed by a LOT of the dialogue. It felt like an old pulp novel, even lower on the scale than the old THE DESTROYER (Remo Williams) books.

It was just very generic.

Honestly, the best parts of the movie were the parts with Chris Hemsworth. That felt like it was made by a completely different, and better, team than the rest of the movie.

Kinda corny and predictable, but has some cool action scenes at least.
