OMG! I do not own a DS but I am f&#cking buying one just to play this incredible game!!
For anyone who doesn't know or understand what this game is. It's a puzzle/adventure game where you can literally write or type anything you can think of and it will manifest itself within the game and you can use it to help complete the levels! For example, on one level a guy had to get a star out of a tree so he wrote "chainsaw" and the game literally gave him a chainsaw to cut the tree down. Next he wrote "flamethrower" and it gave him an actual flamethrower to burn the tree down and get the star! This is a game where you truly are limited only by your own imagination! Watch the video and watch some of the other videos within the link! God vs The Kraken is priceless! LOL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTEUbtgpIgo |

I hope I'm wrong though, and that the game itself is actually fun, and there's more to it than seeing if you can come up with a word that isn't in the game. |

What excites me more than the game itself is the potential a game like this could have for future titles! Could you imagine an RPG where instead of having pre-set weapons/powers you could summon pretty much anything to defeat enemies?!? That would freaking awesome! Played this game earlier today. It's pretty cool, but it seems like it could potentially get boring after a while. At least early on in the game, you can beat most levels using the same couple of items, so that seems kind of cheap. Although after beating a level, there is an option to go back and play it, with the trick being that you have to beat it 3 times in a row, and use new items each time.
Of course I've typed in random words to see what kind of stuff is/isn't in the game, and the funniest one I've come across so far is that typing in "virgin" will make a kid wearing a video game-themed shirt appear. Also, the entire library of 22,000 words in the game has been leaked out, thanks to some guy who ripped the game onto his computer, and dug into the code. If you're interested, you can scan through the list here: http://rush68.net/u/files/scribfull.txt |

I tend to play through the puzzle levels first, then switch over to the action ones. There was one I did recently involving having to get a car started to drive it home. I tried a mechanic, that didn't work. Tried a new engine, new battery, etc. None of that worked. Tried a screwdriver, that didn't work. Finally tried hitting it with a lightning bolt, and that did the trick. I'm currently stuck on a level involving a bunch of cars being held up by a cow. Eventually a butcher will come and kill the cow. My problem is I don't even know what I'm supposed to do. Am I supposed to save the cow, or am I supposed to clear the path for the cars, without killing the cow? |
