Varsity Blues for me. That's all I want from that list. The more titles they release the better as far as I am concerned.

Deep Impact & The Firm for me. I've been waiting for those 2.

I like the way Paramount is continuing to release catalog titles on Blu-ray.

Varsity Blues will be a buy. K-19 was pretty good except that Harrison Ford's bad Russian accent got grating after about 5 minutes.

Escape from L.A. for me

i love that movie, i'm a little worried about there not being any special features announced yet (why is this the only carpenter/russell movie that has never been given an audio commentary...do they not like this movie or something?). Hopefully paramount will at least throw us a bone and give us something in terms of special features other then the "dolby digital 5.1" and "interactive menus" that we got on the DVD release

True, it was even available for pre-order on Amazon, but was then later pulled.

Now the Paramount September catalog wave has been announced...No Braveheart. Maybe they are going to do a special announcement, but this is starting to feel like late last year when Braveheart was suppposed to come 1/20/09. Paramount announced a bunch of OTHER January catalog titles but Braveheart was not among them. We then found out Braveheart had been pushed back.

Call me a pessimist. But given the removal of the pre-order and the absence of Braveheart from the September wave...it might not be looking good. I hope I'm wrong...

Yeah sounds to me like Braveheart won't be coming out until next year.
