I suppose it's possible Raised by Wolves could be Canada only as it is first being reported by a Canadian retailer.

I feel like DC titles are more likely in general as there’s a big fanbase. The first two seasons of Harley Quinn (DC Universe) got a Blu, as did other DC Universe shows like Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Stargirl, Young Justice: Outsiders.

I just watched The Fallout. I sure hope that gets a BD or UHD.

That scene was intense.

I want a release of Station Eleven more than anything, just an incredible limited series.

It’s a Paramount TV production, so hopefully that means they’ll do one.

Brilliant show.

Based on this preliminary Amazon listing, looks like Titans: The Complete Third Season is getting a release on May 24 (at least in Canada):

Knowing Warner, they'll probably only offer it as a DVD in the US at best. Canada will probably get a BD too.

I doubt it. All of the HBO Max shows have had good reviews and even Titans seems to be popular, they're likely going to keep them as streaming exclusives because they're stupid and think it subtracts from subscriptions like people only subscribe for one particular thing. People can have both.

Since Peacemaker is a DC property, I'm pretty sure this will get a Blu-ray here. Very little of the DC stuff doesn't get a Blu-ray.

Interesting that The Witches is getting a DVD only here.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y9D9ZVS...ogi&th=1&psc=1

I figured this would have gotten a Blu-ray.

Hmm. I had no idea Doom Patrol wasn't getting a release here. I mean the Canadian release is pretty much the exact same thing we would have here as Raised by Wolves didn't have the bilingual packaging, but the only issue is paying extra to get this.

The other issue is successfully importing a Canadian disc, unfortunately.

I ordered Raised by Wolves soon after it came out from an eBay seller, because Amazon Canada won't sell to American addresses anymore. That order never arrived, so I got a refund and just ordered a second copy, from a third-party seller on Amazon Canada that does offer shipping to the US.

I really wish Amazon Canada still shipped to the US, it was so easy to use.

Very strange. With Kimi, there was no BD master existing, so I kind of understood a DVD here, since they sell twice as many units as BDs.

However, for The Witches, there's already a Canadian BD they could just clone for the US.

I guess they decided it's just worth the effort for this market.

My understanding was that the streaming model actually does kind of depend on a large number of people subscribing just for one particular show they like. As it was explained to me, that's why streaming shows don't need to be as 4-quadranty as network shows. Each show just needs to draw in a small but passionate audience who will pay the monthly fee for that show.

Obviously, I'm not saying that they expect every subscriber to be like that, but certainly a big chunk of them are, as I understand it.
