I am now a new member of this forum and I am spending a lot more time here rather than the "other" forum because of all the negativity associated with the format war over there. I own both formats, but my preference is for BD to ultimately be the successor to DVD. I own a PS3 and it has performed flawlessly for almost a year now.

I look forward to being a member here and contributing when I have information that is relevant to the topics being discussed.

this is what I like about this forum, we dont spend our entire day bashing HDDVD, and just mostly rather talk about the technology, new movies, new firmware updates, new players, and news in general...

yeah we do show our wrath every now and then, but unlie HDDVD fan boys, we dont purely live for hating HDDVD, but rather just simply supporting our format of choice.

They would just remove it within a few minutes as they do almost all positive blu-ray news. AVS is as impartial as Microsoft.
