Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) will get a 4K UHD release from Universal on July 5, 2022.

We didn't get the first one on UHD, I'd hoped that Uni were holding it back for a double pack with the new one or something but nope, I guess they feel the UHD(s) just won't sell in this market.

There is a 4k release of the 1st film in the US. March 2022, 3 years after the blu-ray US release.

Was hoping for a Steelbook to match the 4K Steelbook of the first film. I'm not a big Steelbook fan, but I love to be consistent. Just happy they didn't hold back the 4K this time.

Glad that at least the US is getting a 4k version, which will be region free no doubt. I imported the first one from the US, so will do the same again. LOVED the movie; even more than the first movie.

Just saw this in the cinema and if I didn't already have it pre-ordered I would do so immediately. Loved the movie and it should be an excellent UHD.

I don't know why they bother anymore. What happened to the days of good quality making of documentaries? 11 minutes? And we all know 10 minutes of that will be the actors talking to camera talking about the plot and being asked why Downton is so popular.

Maybe down the line, but even GRUV had only listed the Blu-ray, Blu-ray collector's edition, and this 4K edition.
