Contraband up for pre-order from Cauldron (Lucio Fulci) - Page 5 - Blu-ray Forum

Did anyone preorder this directly from Cauldron get a heads up on when this will ship? I ordered mine from DiabolikDVD so I wouldn't hear anything from them.

While they are now several days overdue for delivery to our shipping warehouse, Fedex swears we will have them early next week. Once they arrive, we are getting them out the door ASAP.
In the meantime, preorders for Contraband and Murder in a Blue World are shutting off on Monday, so if you would like to be in on the first wave of shipping, now is your chance.

Fortunately Sator and Liza Blu-rays are well on their way to completion. They will most likely be on time depending on how long they take to get here from manufacturing, but we expect they will be shipping in early June.

We are handling the next wave much differently and will have all the components at the replicator before announcing/taking preorders, so we can get them out to you in a much shorter window.

What is next? Well, you will have to wait and see, but it is definitely going to be a lot of fun with two 70s Italian action titles from two different genres!

Then after that, more Italian horror, action, an obscure giallo, and our first UHD!

Mine changed as well. A ton of people already have had theirs shipped already since yesterday, but I guess they pre-ordered from Cauldron direct.

Ah. Hadn't noticed that. I guess they posted in the Cauldron thread. Haven't checked that one in awhile. Everyone's word of mouth has me really anticipating this, so I am a bit excited. I watched The Big Racket this past weekend and was stunned by the sheer violence in it. Can't wait to see what Fulci can do in this genre.

It's really good. I haven't seen this in Italian before, so I'm excited to finally watch it in the native language. Violence in this is even a notch higher than The Big Racket, but this is Fulci we are talking about.

Is this is as gory as people say it is? Never seen it. I'm more into Fulci's classic splatter films so I haven't many of his non-genre efforts. After Zombie and the Gates of Hell trilogy, Four of the Apocalypse is my favorite non-genre Fulci flick.

It's probably the most gory gangster film I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. Not as violent as say Zombie or City of the Living Dead, but more violent than Four of the Apocalypse by a mile. Someone gets their face blow torched, brains blown out, shotgun blast to the gut, someone's throat explodes after being shot in it, someone already dead gets blasted in the face multiple times, all kinds of violence.

It’s less gory than the typical Fulci horror film, but way more gory than the typical poliziotteschi.

Got my shipping notice from Diabolik. I’m thinking about having a mini Testi-thon (sounds funny don’t it?) in anticipation of this one getting to my home. I still haven’t watched The Heroin Busters from my Rogue Cops and Racketeers set. I also have Revolver from Eureka to give a spin as well.
