i just saw 17 PS3's lol - Blu-ray Forum

hi,
i am from upstate NY, went to Best Buy (Crossgates Mall) looking for a movie to buy when I walked where the PC games are, and there I saw 14 stacked 60 gig PS3's for sale, then I looked where the PS3's are located, saw 3 more, they werent empty boxes either lol.

oh, and I saw 3 80 gig's for sale

hey,
first, not my son that is in Blue Angels, but my youngest daughter is, and she is not a pilot, she fixes the computer systems on the F/18 Hornets, but guess who she calls when she cant get her game to work on her computer? lol

second, i made this thread based on news from Sony stating that they are completely sold out of 60 gig PS3's, said absolutely none in warehouse anywheres lol.

third, comes after second,

Sony said they ran out of the 60GB model in THEIR warehouse, not the retailers' warehouse.

that explains alot, first welcome. second, sony didn't announce they are completely sold out of the 60 gis PS3'S, they said the last 60 GIG just left the warehouse. and it is normal to find PS3s available at retail stores, and it was the promise sony provided to make sure that everyone is able to get one.

They just shipped them all. There are thousands of 60g models floating around.

Mine comes tomorrow and I can't wait.

I'm surprised they put out so many units. Normally, you'd want to just put out a couple--to facilitate the feeling of them running out.
