Assuming I like the movie (I have tix for Tuesday, and am aware of the rave reviews), I will probably get a Maverick UHD Steel to go alongside my UHD Steel of the OG movie. So I will keep an eye on this, and the standard Steelbook, to see which I prefer.

Same. It doesn't match the 4k Steelbook for the first film, but it looks great.

Cover art says 4K+Digital, site says 4K+Blu-ray+Digital. So which is it? Guessing the former, don't like this trend of seperate releases instead of a combo pack.

The cover art is just temporary placeholder. The Walmart exclusive listing says it’s 4K/BD/DC on their site. The other steelbook is a wide release. So that’ll be probably just 4K/DC.

It's just a Paramount thing.

They seem to be releasing 4K only steelbooks in North America now. All of their recent releases in the UK include blu-ray discs with the 4K discs.

Sonic 2 seems to be the exception here including both discs probably because it's a kids movie.

Release date is November 1st.

The "interchangeable key art" is most likely a magnet (the blue image in the attachment from Walmart's listing below)

In Europe it's a lenticular magnet so hopefully it's the same here.

This is the only combination that I have seen that includes the "blue" image with the "brown" steelbook.

The European listings that include the magnet are combined with a "blue" steelbook. The front image of the steelbook is the same as the magnet image. The back artwork is the same as the back of the "brown" steelbook but in blue and the interiors are the same for both steelbooks.
