Wow, isn't this a Fox/Disney license? If so that bodes well for their vault beginning to open. Pretty unexpected.

Edit: Looking into it, FAI Films was bought by an insurance company that went belly up. I guess Shout bought the rights from HIH and Disney doesn't have it.

Good Lord, we need new scans of The Secret Of NIMH, An American Tail and The Land Before Time (w/the correct audio for Tail). And having Titan A.E. on Blu at all would be a treat.

Wow, I didn't see this coming, especially from Shout. I will definitely be getting this—I have had the DVD for years, but never bought the current Blu-ray. I grew up watching this movie and still enjoy it as an adult.

seems like no new bonus features besides the new introduction w/ newly uncovered production material and a new master but at least this is back in print again!

Wonder if the sound will be better. On the current BD, the volume seems to change noticeably about part way through.

Maybe for December and only as a $50 collector's edition.

Though let's be honest, there's almost as many 4K scans released only on BD as there are actual 4K releases these days.

I remember liking this as a kid, though I don't actually remember the movie itself lol

I thought Land Before Time already looks pretty good on Blu-ray.

That's the one 80s Bluth film that looks acceptable on Blu (plus Anastasia from later in the 90s). But it could still look better.
