What's NSM compression like? Hopefully a better encode than Shout.

Definitely curious about this one. Would like to know which transfer they’re using, what the audio options are, and yes, what the compression situation is.

NSM are more concerned with how many shi... limited edition mediabooks they can rinse out of something, as opposed to actual quality.

I’m guessing they licensed from Shout? I found this listing that gives a tad more information:

It does say “ For the first time including the original mono sound formats” (according to Google Translate).

Trancas International has worldwide rights to it I believe, so they'd likely have licensed it from them.

NSM's encodes are on par or slightly better than Shouts from what I've seen. Never had any experience with their UHDs, though.

Shout came out 2021, Concorde in 2019, few months after the Lionsgate version. I haven't seen/compared both with my own eyes but I guess Concorde master should be the same as Lionsgate

Why would it be the older master (already released in Germany) and not a newer one? Concorde’s rights lapsed and NSM swooped in to do (essentially) pointless mediabook releases?

These Mediabooks are Repacks of the Concorde disc. Concorde holds the rights for the German speaking market. They only released a Keep Case in 2019. NSM is doing Mediabook repacks now.

anyone know where to order these from for shipping to the US? amazon.de (my go to german site) does not have them available to order (but i could add to my wish list)... and jpc.de doesn't have them...

If this is the German Concorde transfer, id steer clear. I have the regular edition and although it includes the og audio(lossy), the aspect ratio is different for some reason, compared to the US releases.
