Saw a trailer for this film at the theater yesterday, and thought it looked pretty charming. I searched for an existing thread, but couldn't find anything. It will get a release in the US on June 17th from Focus Features.

Three days, a washing machine, and various spare parts later, he’s invented Charles, an artificially intelligent robot who learns English from a dictionary and has an obsession with cabbages. What follows is a humorous and entirely heartwarming story about friendship, family, finding love, and letting go.

Saw it yesterday and loved it a ton. Definitely going to make my Top 5 of the year. I love David Earl and this was the perfect blend of drama and comedy for him. Charles falling off the step stool as he dances is some of the funniest shit I've seen in a while.
