Absolutely awesome!!!!

Picture and Audio quality was very good (I've never been disappointed with any Blu-ray thus far from the Disney camp) and kudos to Bill Paxton for his first major directorial debut. Even starts off with his commentary of what he wanted to accomplish in picture quality.

I forgot this came out today. I didn't see it when I was browsing at Best Buy. Is this title exclusive to a certain store or did I just miss it?

Default Frailty

Hate to be nitpicking but Frailty was Paxtons debut as a Director, which I really loved. Or maybe you thought that Frailty wasn't major?

I stand corrected, now that I think about it, Paxton talked about his first directorial debut for Disney. But then again, I thought he said that was his first....nevertheless, he did a pretty good job covering the US Open back in 1913 and it was cool knowing that he lived near a Country Club collecting golf balls for Ben Hogan.

One thing that surprised me about the game back then was if your golf ball was obstructed by your competition on the green, you had to find a way around that. Even surprising was that Francis Ouimet (the character the story is based on) had a ten-year-old caddie.

After the film, had fun doing research on both Ouimet and Harry Vardon. It's interesting to have played golf for so long but I really had no knowledge of the players or how the game was played back then.

I loved this movie and hope to pick it up on Blu-ray. I would think the overall quality of the disc would be on par with other Disney offerings, so it should be a treat.

Yes, this film is definitely the "hoosiers" of golf. What a wonderful film on all levels. I had never heard of this story before seeing the film and enjoyed every minute of it.
