Germany Scream Trilogy on Blu-ray in October

Kinowelt Home Entertainment plans to release the "Scream-Trilogy" in October 2009 on Blu-ray. No further details are available at the moment but you can expect 1080p, VC-1 video encode accompanied by a German and an English DTS-HD 5.1 audiotrack.

@nerdboyrockstar
Kinowelt is an independent German publisher. They brought more than 80 movies to Blu-ray in Germany with good picture and sound quality like Saw I - V, Stargate, Jumper or for example Highlander 1 in a steelbook. Highlander will street on 06/19/09.

Yes, they usually use lossless sound - Master Audio and sometimes High Resolution Audio 5.1 and 7.1

Their releases are sometimes regioncodefree but not usually.

Letīs wait for infos from the press server to tell you whether itīs regioncodefree or not - iīll post it here.

The first SCREAM movie is "indiziert" in Germany.
By german law it is forbidden to sell movies that are on the "index" by mail-order. That means that if you can order the Blu-ray box from a german online-retailer it will surely contain an edited version of the first movie.

Kinowelt has released an edited version of SCREAM on DVD before. They have also released an unedited version but this can NOT be bought from german online-shops.

Forgive me, but what would have been edited in the first movie?

Oh sweet. Not much was cut then. I swear I saw the uncut version on cable... I remember the garage door death.
