Hi, To any ADMIN, regarding Chinese subtitles, I believe Chinese subtitles are NOT Cantonese / Mandrian, but actually are only in Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, as Cantonese / Mandarin are only for Spoken languages not reading. Is there anyone on the site that is of Chinese nationality that can conform this? Thanks!

I am not of Chinese nationality, but this is not accurate. Written Cantonese is different from written Mandarin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Written_Cantonese
That said, actual Cantonese subtitles are apparently quite rare. Most Chinese subtitles are in Mandarin, even if the spoken language is Cantonese. |
