What's wrong with the smithing? Other than the fact that it now costs over $1 million to put a ring in one of my weapons, I haven't encountered any issues.

The skill that you can put points into, doesn't do what it says it does, and it doesn't do what its suppose to do.

This has already been reported to the devs.

Patch Notes
New features

Support for downloadable content has been added
Trading between two players on the same console is now possible
Added the 'Find me' option to the leaderboard

Bugfixes

A rare crash was located and fixed
AI related problems during the final boss encounter were fixed
The fourth player joining a multiplayer session now correctly gains the 'Group Hug' achievement
Player characters sometimes were not able to move after teleporting with a mount. This has been fixed.

Additonal changes

Improved player character responsiveness when using ranged weapons
Improved player character responsiveness when using the Temple Guardians weapon arm
Mounts will now appear along with the hero when joining a multiplayer session
Medium potions will now drop for players of level 40 and above, major potions for players of level 80 and above
Spiders using their web attack no longer cause graphical errors
Some minor issues with voice chat and the block list have been fixed
Some graphical issues with the world map have been corrected
The inventory list will no longer scroll downwards when opened using the radial menu
Action buttons are no longer shown when opening the radial menu and using the 'Static HUD' graphics option
It is no longer possible to talk to friendly animals and hirelings
It is no longer possible to talk to town NPCs in Spanish, Italian an Polish versions of 'Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel' since no localized voice data is available for these languages
Players are now informed correctly when a controller is disconnected during gameplay

The patch includes more fixes, the list is showing the major ones.

Take note according to the publisher the American and UK version are not synced and UK was playing catchup.

i finally got back to playing this over the weekend and got about 8 levels.. been doing a lot of sidequests and have about 140 done ... i just made it to hte human area though as far as main story goes .. sadly though the blind guardian weapons are already pretty weak compared to what i have already they just have more slots than my current weapon ..
i still dont have a great grasp on the whole weapon abilities stuff and what i should really choose over another thing ..

I've done over 200 quests with my inquisitor (for the trophy) and there are still a ton of them left. I think I read somewhere that there are 600 total

I got about 5 levels last night in the couple hours I played and brought my temple guardian up to 15, got that trophy too

Just 6 more left until the platinum!!! One of them is the niobium one though......that might take a couple weeks.

should be 500 since 100 quests gave you the 20% quests done trophy ...

That's true... could there really be 100 story quests? I don't think those add to your completed quest total.

why wouldnt those add to the total they are quests ??? ahh who knows not worried about it .. can anyone tell me what quest you get your special mount ??? i dont want to waste money on a horse but its getting tiring doing some of these very long treks ...

I don't know, but I was checking when I was going for the 40% completed quests trophy and they definitely did not raise my total completed quests any.

The mount quest is in Urthak's Moxie. There is a little girl there that you talk to in order to start the quest. It's a little bit of treking but worth it. I have never even bought a horse!

what region of hte map is that ?? ( northeast , southwest , etc ) iam only now in the human region .. the town starts with a D i just completed the main quest THROUGH THE WALL ive been pretty much doing all sidequests i come across to this point ..

another question

has anyone done the " THE ESCAPE " quest i have to escort some guy out of some sewer but i cant find hte friggin guy anywhere .ive been thru the entire sewer system .. there is some old guy in the center of map but you cant talk to him at all .. and this guy is supposed to be in a jail of some sort ..

i forgot the town name its near hte south where you can take hte boat to a small island in the middle which is called jail island

also i came across a guy in that general area that asked if i wanted to take a sea voyage .. i was afraid to do it at the time as i was still low leveld .. i cant seem to find him again though .. anyone know if he randomly appears or something ?? also what is the sea voyage exactly ???

Urthak's Moxie is on the northern coast of the human region, towards the western edge of the region. It's almost due north of the place where you go through the wall. Here is a map if you want to see. DON'T click the map if you want the boss locations to remain a secret though. This map also includes mini-bosses too that are not related to the main quest

cant access the link at work .. i assume i defeated one boss so far .. he had one of those classic "boss health bars" at the bottom of the screen .. i had to actually deplete the thing 3 times before he died .. and he was friggin huge man ..

You get it in land of the orcs keeping following the story and it will lead you to orc land from human land, someone will ask you to fetch a map for them from one of the villages, upon your return the special mount island is revealed and you can fast travel there.

Upon getting there you will have to prove yourself by going from one side of the island and killing lots of things.. and returning going to one side of the island and killng lots of things etc..

You will then be allowed to purchase a special mount for about over 300k.

Northwest in orc land, follow the story till it takes you there, it will lead you to orc land soon.

i cant believe how badly addicted to this game i am again now .. i wonder if this game is a bit glitchy in hte quests department ..

i have a quest that simply reads

QUEST

with a 1 star rating .. nothing else .. if i highlight it as my current quest no ring or direction shows up on the map

i also cannot find the guy im supposedto escort for the quest THE ESCAPE .. i know where the sewers are under the city nad have been thru the entire thing 3 times and cant find but one person in the sewer who isnt talk to -able ..

I beat it again last night, this time with a temple guardian. I got the "Survivalist", "Dedicated", and "Bright Savior" trophies, all silver

Just three more left for me, the only time consuming one will be getting to the niobium level. At least I'm already on Platinum.

Sorry to hear about that quest, I haven't had that happen to me

I did have a slight delay on the Blind Guardian quest the first time I did it though. I killed the zombie to get back the guys mic, but the zombie never dropped the mic.... I went a did a few other quests and then reactivated the Blind Guardian one from my menu and went back to the spot and the mic was sitting there. Maybe you could try something similar

ive had that happen numerous times on "drop" quests .. and yeah going and doing other quests seems to rectify that ,. but not in this case so far . that blank quest has been sitting there for about lthe last 10 hours of playtime in which i have done well over 100 quests ..

i spent some time last night going back to the beginning area and opening up map and picking up some quests ..

ive now slain 4 bosses so far .. it was kidna shocking ot run itno the white griffin boss in the middle of nowhere .. the others so far ive been specifically on quests coming across them ...

i finally got 1 piece of a set armor too ..
