I wouldn't take that chance. I don't think VS titles have slips from Amazon. If you want a guaranteed copy with slip order from Severin, Diabolik, or Grindhouse Video.

I honestly don't see the risk. These slips won't sell out on the Severin site prior to street date and worst case scenario you just return the Amazon order and just order there.

No they won't sell out for awhile. I'm just trying to steer people in the right direction where you're guaranteed a slip that will be shipped with care bubble wrapped and in a box.

Still nothing for me and I backed the Kickstarter campaign on day 1 and paid the UHD upgrade fee.

I can’t say I’m surprised. I really can’t.

Didn’t realize the backers had to pay the upgrade fee. And it hasn’t shipped either.

Yeah, paying the upgrade fee was announced when they announced the upgrade to UHD, it’s the second post in this thread.

Came to check to see if anyone had gotten theirs yet. Still waiting here as well. Now photos are starting to appear on social media of people (non-backers) that received theirs early. Aggravating!

I rented the 4K disc of this from my local shop. I will probably watch either tonight or within the next couple of days.

I'm a backer and got my 4K a couple weeks back! But I haven't had the chance to look at it, yet, had to go out of town. It's a beautiful slip and package. I had no problem paying the upgrade fee...and compared to two other recent Kickstarters/Indiegogos I've taken part in...who still haven't fulfilled promised benefits *years* later, at least this one materialized!

These folks, the producers, were doing nearly everything themselves in terms of coordination, from my understanding, and had premiere screenings, press, etc. as they took it around in the U.S. and internationally. Then the 4K replication/distribution required extra time, too.

*Still* waiting for a Welles "Other Side of the Wind" disc promised from those folks...it's tied up because they "went for the money" over at Netflix. And they don't even send updates, like the Producers of "Out of the Blue" have nicely been doing!
