Ok cool. I asked about this in the vinegar syndrome forum and everyone said the same thing. I’m thinking possibly Monday they should reply back to my email about the mixup. I’m not trying to keep the wrong movie for free but not complaining if they tell me to keep it regardless. I was really looking forward to watching Miami Connection 4K today though

I've placed a ton of orders with them and I've had one instance of them sending me the wrong movie. They were great about sending a replacement. They've also sent me replacement discs and other materials for things I didn't even know were an issue. They're the best in the business when it comes to customer service, in my experience.

Oh man. I would've been super sad if they sent me the wrong movie because I've anticipated this night since I pre-ordered it. But mine came in a few hours ago and the packaging is absolutely top notch. This is arrow type shit right here. About to start laundry and catch a buzz before experiencing this gift from the cinema gods. Miami Connection in 4K, what a time to be alive!

Yeah, I emailed them Friday about the mix-up as soon as I opened the package, I'm not expecting to hear back from them until tomorrow. 🤞

Makes me wonder if anyone else who ordered Miami Connection 4K got Cloak and Dagger by mistake as well. Update: VS contacted me for the mix up. They offered Cloak and Dagger for $34.99 instead or I could get a return label shipped along with Miami Connection 4K. I asked for a return label instead of keeping Cloak. That’s still a lot to me for a movie I didn’t ask for or heard of. Hopefully I get Miami Connection soon.

Interesting that they requested that you return Cloak. They previously let me keep the stuff they accidentally sent me, though I don't think those movies were as expensive as Cloak and it seems like this might be a more widespread issue.

They replied yesterday with the discounted price or return label. I said I'll take the return label and I still have haven't heard back from them. This is getting really irritating. Not sure what the holdup is😠

I had a chance to watch the alternate version of this movie, Escape from Miami last night. It's worth a watch as it has some alternate scenes not included in the theatrical version, plus the ending is different too (although the alternate ending was included as a special feature on the old Blu-ray.)

The difference in video quality between this release and the Drafthouse version is huge. Although, I must admit the trashy looking video from the old release added to some of the charm of watching it.

Definitely worth a purchase for fans of the movie.

I picked up the new Umbrella edition - unsurprisingly it seems to be the same video from the old Drafhouse edition (complete with Manson Pictures logo at the beginning), however they did indeed get a lossless audio track.
