It's an annual subscription that costs $18 and saves you 10% on your purchases.

Damn, Funimation is really going in on these Steelbooks, really wish Viz would give some love to their selection.

But it will also be nice if Funimation also treated their other shows rather than Dragon ball all the time.

A huge portion of the tapes are from Toei. Back when Funimation was starting with this property, they were getting two media deliveries: SD digital tape and distribution film positive prints. This media delivery model was how DBZ was handled, but at some point in the Dragon Ball deliveries, Funimation declined to receive the rest of the film. Cost cutting measure. Much later on, the company investigated doing an HD version with film for DB, but since they didn't have all the film, the project died. There was a series of tests done on the film that was in-house. My friend said they tried 2K and 4K scanning methods. They said it looked pretty good. Everyone was bummed out that the project never made it to full production. So, it still comes down to money. I'm sure there will be an official 4K version of all these shows (DBZ, DB, and even GT), but something new will have to change company leadership's mind to get it going. As for the Kineko samples shown online, I've been told the opening looks like the footage used in the testing for DB, but the recap can't be from Funimation. They never received the recaps in film form. The film from Funimation's media library was transferred to a secure Sony vault. So, either that vault was compromised, or the Kineko film is coming from somewhere else. I'm surprised Funimation and Toei hasn't jumped all over them. Lots of fun stories from the old Funimation. A bit of a bummer they are gone.
The later episodes on FUNi's blue brick sets look sourced from ancient video masters, and a huge step down from earlier episodes, which look very clean and vivid. That's just my observation. DB probably isn't a priority because it's very niche compared to DBZ, DB Super, and even DBGT. They have HD masters of the movies streaming, but on physical media, they're still DVD-only from ancient masters.

$18 for a 1-year Got Anime? membership. If you buy a lot of stuff you will easily save more than $18 in discounts throughout the year.

As for the 10% off code, there are multiple ways people are getting them.
1. Rightstuf has a 10% code offered to first-time customers.
2. Rightstuf sent out a code the other day to anyone who is subscribed to emails. It is: 2022rightstufbday
3. Rightstuf started adding unique 10% off codes to their boxes in the last few weeks. I received a box with items from 3 orders and received 3 unique codes to use.

It's not really clear. There's no indication that the TV anime will continue, but Super as a brand is still going with movies and a monthly manga. I expect that it will be a long time before a larger bundle shows up, if ever.

I don’t see a board for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero but does anyone know when the home release will come out? Any chance this might get a 4K blu ray release? I’m fine with just a regular blu ray release as well

I doubt this will get a 4K release. If you go off the last film, it was 3 months after released in theatres - based on that, should be end of November.

Based on the new movie, and the latest manga chapter (both of which just released in the U.S.), I would guess that the next iteration of DB might get a different subtitle (Z / GT / Super / something new). Just my personal speculation.

If they do a followup, they'll probably call it something else. Just like the other series:

Dragonball
Dragonball Z
Dragonball GT (don't shoot the messenger, just listing names)
Dragonball Super

They even called the re-edit of Z "kai" to distinguish it.

Lol, Kai means revision which literally describes what they did. Whereas the latter manga sagas, that have not been adapted into anime, are still Dragon Ball Super. To give you OCD completionists a further heart attack, it’s very possible the continuing anime will retell and filler-rize the Broly and “Super Hero” movie and still call it DB Super. That would be a total Toei move.
