By process of elimination, Back to the Future would be my top choice as well, because it's the only trilogy I can think of where I like all 3 movies.

Godfather/Star Wars, I don't really like the third ones.

Man With No Name/Bourne, I don't like the second ones.

Matrix/Pirates of the Caribbean, I don't really like the second or third parts.

LotR is all one movie to me, but broken down into more manageable chunks.

Spiderman/Mission Impossible/Jurassic Park, didn't like the second ones, and never saw the third ones.

I think Back To The Future was one of the few times I enjoyed the last movie more than the sequel.

Yes!! Indy is a trilogy.
Then a couple of over-paid, over-egoed, "we don't care about the fans" posers came in and decided they could make a few more bucks off one of the most entertaining trilogies of all time and permanently tainted its legacy b/c that question will always be asked.... "Is Indiana Jones a trilogy?"

Hahaha. I'm just kidding. I actually am so amused how this Indy phenomena happens in the various threads. So don't remove your post.

It's hard to top Star Wars OT. But The Godfather and Infernal Affairs trilogies come in tied a close second for me.
