Arrow Zombieland Movie Trailer

Zombieland Survival Tips: Rule #15 - Use a Bowling Ball!

Quote:
Hell yea I can't wait for Zombieland! This little survival clip video was actually put up by Sony last week, but somehow everyone missed it, and I just found out about it now, so I wanted to feature it anyway since it's so cool. So in Zombieland, there are 47 rules to survive, and apparently #15 is "Nothing says massive head trauma like a bowling ball!" Or something like that. Either way, it's awesome, and I just hope we get to see more crazy videos like this, like potentially all 47 of the rules? Who knows if that'll happen. I wonder if that Pittsburgh mention was a shout out to George Romero and his zombies? Whatever, just check it out!

Columbus (Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Harrelson) doesn't have fears. If he did, he'd kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they're about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.

Zombieland is directed by first-time filmmaker Ruben Fleischer of only a few episodes of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" previously. The screenplay was written by newcomers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese best known for "The Joe Schmo Show" previously. Sony will be bringing Zombieland to theaters on October 9th this fall.

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Ruben Fleischer’s Zombieland. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn’t have fears. If he did, he’d kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they’re about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.

I’ve been calling this a “buddy zombie action comedy” but its more than that. But why try to describe it when the trailer does a great job of presenting the strange comic tone of the film. The screenplay has a lot of clever cutaway shots like “the Zombie kill of the week.” And did I mention that some of the movie takes place in an amusement park? Just imagine all the fun that can be had killing zombies on and around amusement rides… I’ve seen some very cool things while I was on set (but I can’t say anymore until the embargo is lifted next month).
What do you think?

Zombies? I'm there. Hope it lives up to zom-coms like Shaun and Fido. Let's keep our rotting fingers crossed.

Looks good to me. Entertainment from comedy, action, and killing zombies in creative ways (that's the important part).

Not usually a big fan of zombie movies, but this one looks really funny. I might have to check it out.

oh man, i would pay 10 bucks for the movie, even if I only got to see the few moments that Bill Murray is a zombie. That's just a cool sentence to say. "Hey wanna see this new Zombie movie? Bill Murray is one of the zombies!" lol

I agree. However, with or without Bill this still looks good. I always love a good zombie flick.

It's like Left 4 Dead finally going to the big screen, but with more humor.
