Default Show case 3-D Blu-ray

I rented my bloody valentine 3-d on blu-ray and watched it on my 1080p tv. I only had the clear 3d glasses that you get at the theater which didn't work for that movie.
My daughter comes over on a later date with the same movie on regular dvd but has the cheapo red and blue lens glasses. I started to watch it with her on my 1080i tv which is in a pitch black room and was blown away by the 3-d effect in a totally dark room.

Are ther any good blu-rays that show case the 3-d effect preferably more thriller or action and less hacker slasher?

The only ones that I can think of are the re-release of Polar Express and the limited edition of The Journey to The Center of The Earth. Also, there is a Jonas Brothers concert in 3-D.

The polarised glasses you were using that were from a Digitally projected movie do not work on current hom releases. Your HDTV and the actual Blu-ray doesn't use polarising technology at the moment.

No there are no good 3d movies on blu-ray because of the red and blue

would look ok if they did it autostereoscopic or real-d, provision 3dmedia

if mvie companies are serious why don't they project the movie onto a screen and then place real-d lens over a hd camera and record 3d that way onto blu-ray
