They haven't even released it yet, so I'm not sure where you are getting that it's going to be blu-ray only.

are great. Watched together, in one amazing sitting, this entire story is truly epic.

I'm hoping for a stunning set (I'd even 4k double dip if Criterion/Via vision/Arrow or some such company put out an epic box set and Best Buy released awesome steelbooks editions) I already own the Hong Kong box set, the OOP Ultimate box set and the limited edition steel case set, so I guess you could safely call me a fan of the series.

Any comparisons between the HK, French and German releases out there? I know the German release has DV, the HK one has HDR10+ and the French is HDR10-only, but I can't find much else.

I think criterion blu and FR 4K looks too bright, boosted. HK more natural. Would be interesting to see Plaions German discs.

And a note on FR discs I found comparing HK to FR:
- This release has better Video and Audio Quality than FRA Release
