Default Remember the Titans 5.0 PQ

I take everything in Highdefdigest.com with a grain of salt. However, even their biased reviewer had to give Remember the Titans a 5.0 PQ rating. The movie must look awesome. Guess I will buy another one.

I saw that yesterday. Also don't think Bracke is quite as bad as everyone makes him out to be. His episodes of bias seem to be a thing of the past. He blasts pretty much every catalog release Universal puts out. "Remember The Titans" might do better than people think. It won't sell like a current title but it will be Top 10 the week it comes out.

Isn't this the 1st time 2 HD titles in the same week gets a 5 star rating?

This is also available at Wal-mart for $18.96 if anyone is interested in picking it up as opposed to buying it online.

What sites are recommended for accurate blu-ray reviews besides blu-ray.com?

Yeah our local Walmarts haven't taken to HD films yet, except for one... which then quit carrying Blu-Rays and HD-DVD's due to high theft (oddly enough, it's employee theft)

I would agree with you.

He just gave 5 stars for PQ and SQ to the SonyBMG Dave Matthews release.

If you've never heard Dave and Tim playing - just two guys on stage - regardless of your opinion about the Dave Matthews Band this release is well worth checking out.

Actually, I remember you mentioning it. I was also on the fence about it, but I just purchased it (a pq of 5 deserves it). Went to Best Buy, and they still had it in the "back". They placed the 18 copies on the shelf now I will watch mine eventually, since I bought 15 Blu-rays last week.

i bought the movie yesterday and watched it. It looks great, and the audio is also amazing. It definitely deserved the 5 star picture quality.

Damn it, I might have to get it too. I 've been reading through the threads and a lot of people seem to be complaining about lack of titles announced and so forth. Sheesh, I already have 17 titles on pre-order through the end of the year. I don't know how much more bad news my pocket book can take.

But the point is we in the land of Blu are getting great quality products with lossless sound and the red camp is getting Transformers with lossy sound. Boy I would be super pissed if I were in the red camp.

We can still expect The Simpsons Movie, SuperBad, and so forth through the end of the year and who know what else Warner is going to throw at us but hopefully Batman Begins is one of titles.

And on top of that we received a lot of good news about new hardware last week and so far this week.

Default White Specs

I rate this PQ a 3.5 - did anyone else see the white specs throughout the movie - the specs like you see in the theater? Was it done on purpose?

The white specs can easily be seen on the closing credits and any of the night scenes.

Otherwise, this movie is great and inspirational. GO TITANS!
