I can understand you wanting the movie...but Braveheart, Gladiator, Forrest Gump, and the LOTR Trilogy are officially announced.

American Beauty is a good movie but I can never take the guy seriously when he talks about the carrier bag in the wind. Makes me laugh, especially after watching the Family Guy scene of it...

WOW! Someone is stress, take it easy, life is way to short to sweat the little things like that. It will come out in due time and then you ill be able to enjoy it as much as you wish.

Dreamworks has only been supporting the format for about 12 months. You can't reasonably expect them to have every title released already. These things take time to do right.

Calm down and look forward to its release, instead of complaining that it's not out yet. I'm sure there are plenty of other titles coming out in the next few months to keep you busy...

Also, this type of thread belongs in the Wish List forum.

Inview11 is right though, regardless of whteher or not he looks or sounds negative.

Why is Snakes on a Plane on Blu before American Beauty?

The Dreamworks titles released on DVD before Over The Hedge were handled by Universal. These DVD transfers were rarely mastered in high-defintion so new HD transfers have to be created. It doesn't take a long time to create these but, as is the case with James Cameron films, if the director or cinematographer wants or needs to approve it then its going to take time.

However, sometimes its just a matter of creating new special features that are retrospective in nature rather than promotional.

But the LOTR Trilogy is only the Theatrical Edition you know that Warner/Newline will double dip that one.
