Default Bringing Out the Dead

Vudu has Scorsese's BRINGING OUT THE DEAD available for 4K streaming (HDR10, no DV). Currently, that appears to be the only retail site carrying the title in 4K, though I would expect others to follow, along with (fingers crossed) a physical disc in the near future? If anyone has viewed the 4K stream, let us know how it looks.

Seems more like something Kino would release as opposed to Paramount themselves.

To me, this title hitting UHD is a fairly big deal (whether physical media or not) so I figured folks on this site would also want to know of its availability.

This is a forum for discussing 4K UHD movies, correct?

I feel this site would be a much better place without talk about streaming (and Steelbooks).

Just clogs up the threads.

From a historical stand point, even if not stated outright, it's for physical releases.

Digital releases UHD/4k or otherwise is in this forum:

Yes, but as we've been seeing, Paramount has been releasing catalog titles on 4K disc themselves.

This was part of a 3 for $15 UHD deal on Vudu w month or two back but Bringing Out the Dead was HDX only.

I've had the HDX since forever as a placeholder. I doubt VUDU will upgrade it for free for me. It does give me hope for that future 4K disc. BotD is top-tier Scorsese/Cage, IMO.

I was so excited for a moment. This thread sucks! Send it to the wishlist section or the digital section. Getting my hopes up for nothing!
