Default What About Bob? What about a blu-ray?

I'm astonished this is stuck in non-anamorphic limbo. What about a blu-ray for this good, funny Frank Oz movie?

I've seen a HD listing on Amazon video, dunno if it means real HD or not....

It’s a Disney film that’s also been involved in litigation over profits with Richard Dreyfuss. I’d say the chance of a new physical release is about as close to zero as you can get.

What about your choice of Wish Lists, BD or UHD?

It's coming out the same day as True Lies and The Abyss.

Shame this never got a release and it seems that ship has sailed. This was back during a time when even PG movies could be fairly cerebral and not just family movies that are trying to avoid a G rating.

If only Disney would license titles out to labels like Kino Lorber, Shout, Arrow, Criterion, etc. Pretty sure they (except Criterion) would all love to get their hands on this one and release a Blu-ray.

Disney has to be by far the worst label in the biz. It's not just this title that people want it's a handful of other catalog titles to that are just sitting around no Blu-ray since they won't license them out and work with other labels.

Shame really good movies like this and tons of other don't get a Blu-ray because of whatever from Disney. I think it boils down to greed they want to you to buy their overpriced digital version.
