Yeah, however HMV are saying it's a two disc set. Not keen on the artwork but it has everything in one place.

I dig the artwork. I have the Series 1-8 steelbooks, but I was never able to track down the original steelbooks for Series 9 & 10 of Capaldi's run and they didn't bother re-releasing them so figured what was the point of getting the Whitaker ones. Plus Series 11 wasn't released with matching artwork.

That is odd they stopped releasing the steels on 9 and 10.. been waiting on those.

They released Series 9 & 10 first in this style of art as fairly limited Amazon UK exclusives I believe. Then they went back and slowly released Series 1-8 in similar art style. I think some of us had hoped they'd redo or re-release Series 9 and 10 but they have not.

Did anyone get theirs today?

Mine was on track for delivery by Mr Amazon Man today, but I guess he got bored when on the road and decided to head back to the depot instead.

It's just the game they play now. It'll arrive before Saturday, probably Tuesday, but pre-orders on delivery day seems to be a thing of the past.

Did anybody receive their brand new retail copy from Amazon (or anywhere) without any shrink wrap on it? I was surprised when I took mine out of the Amazon envelope to find it completely naked, otherwise in perfect, pristine condition, not so much as a fingerprint or a speck on it. This has never happened before.

I was wondering if they’re all like that or if this is just a one-off?

They’re not unique to this release discs. Disc one is just the disc from the two episode release of ‘Eve Of The Daleks/Legend Of The Sea Devils’ (plain black disc) and the other disc is from the stand-alone release of ‘The Power Of The Doctor’ (picture disc).
