If you do some research you can find one, but the Z series from Panasonic is very and you will not be disappointed!

Kuro's are still around in BB's & other online dealers. I would go with the V series. I know everyone is saying the Z series but it's not around yet & will probably be on the V series PQ level. The G10 & V10 are still only banging out an ANSI contrast ratio of 4,000.1 & thats being generous. The Panny are still sweet displays & will satisfy all but the pickiest videophile.

I am sure that is operator error. My parents bought a Westinghouse for their bedroom with a built in DVD player. Works great for the price.

Back on topic, Panasonic! Although some people are fond of Samsung. I will never buy another Samsung due to past products of theirs that I had bad luck with.. But thats just me.

There are plenty of online sites that sell Kuros...I know you stated that they might not be in stores anymore..but have you considered an online store? If you haven't seen one in action, then I feel you would be better off goin with the V series from Panny. Dont want you forking out dough for something you havent played around with.

I dont have the money for a kuro right now and they will most likly be gone from all the online retailers by the time I do get the money. So thats why I am looking for the second best.

I hear you stobbart but I have never regretted going a little (more) into debt for quality. Kuros are out there for the taking and you can find deals that make the Panasonic seem comparable in price.
