Yes it does. I watched like 30 mins of the 3-D version and I had to quit. I took the glasses off and I was seeing everything in green, red, blue for a min. I just ended up wathcing the standard 2-D version.

Probably because his eyes were hurting from the red/blue colors and lackluster 3-D visuals.

Because the vision was a little funky. I got a little dizzy. Haha.

Im supprised since they redid the movie, they would have got to the new style of 3d glasses. the red/blue style is so oldschool. I wonder if you can use the new style type of 3d glasses instead of the red/blue style?

Default Region info

Not sure where to post this but thought here may be a good place to start. The US release is not region coded and will play on UK machines. The UK version only has the flat version of the film on the disc, so get the US release to enjoy the 80's 3D revival!

To answer the question regarding the use of Red & Cyan anaglyph images is due mainly down to the fact of age and original processes used, using the interlaced image processed from the original polarized 3D negative. The newer releases are digitally processed so there is not longer a need to strip the negative down. If you really want to experience the film without eye strain you should buy a professional pair of anaglyph glasses that have filters added to the red lense to stop excessive bleeding.

The film is exceptional for what it is, 80's exploration cinema. Worth £15 of anyones money, but don't expect the same effect as a polarized film at Imax

It's been discussed somewhere. I believe My Bloody Valentine 3D glasses are diffrent and can't be used with this movie.

Nope, you can't. MBV is green/magenta, and F13 3D is red/blue. Bummer, because once I heard F13 only came with 2 glasses, I figured I could combine with MBV. Didn't the F13 3D DVD come with green/magenta glasses?

Those red and blue 3d glasses are lame, they should be banned for causing dizziness.

I just checked the blu-ray.com listing details, and your right, it is region free. They must have updated their info (originally stated region A) since I checked it last week. Happy days and good times!!

Strange that Friday Part 2 is Region A.

Paramount UK and US don't to my knowledge region code their blu-rays. Same goes for Warner, world-wide.

Yeah, pretty much. There are some minor ghosting issues, but those were in the theatrical prints as well.

I've seen it projected on the big screen only once here in Boston during a Halloween marathon, and this blu-ray is leaps and bounds better than the old worn out print the theatre had access to.

Yeah, I was only able to watch in 3D for like 20 minutes before I had to go back to 2D. The 3D looked pretty good it it wasn't for the aforementioned dizziness and ghosting problems. I haven't checked out MBV to see how it looks.
