Things you're most anal about besides your BD's - Blu-ray Forum

There's probably a similar thread out there but I'll start a new one if ya'll don't mind. I'll start:

1. My car. People who ride in my car cannot touch because they leave finger prints. I park far away. I "used" to wash the car twice a week. I apply a sealant to my car once a month. I can't drive in a dirty car!

2. Washing my hands WITH soap. I wash my hands maybe at least 20x a day.

3. Desk at work is always clean, dusted off, and all paper work is well organized. I'm like this at home

keeping home theater equipment "straight" i.e. tv/receiver/etc isn't angled any..and of course, like many people, i hate dust and whenever i see a large amount of it i have to get a wipe

I'm not a very anal person. I'm pretty messy so it's hard to be anal about things. My desk at work is a complete mess, although it's gradually getting better, maybe by the end of the year it will be clean

I am very anal about how people watch sports or specifically the NBA. Some of those people only care about betting, and don't even know the sports well enough, or even the team they are betting on!!!

Me too. Also, I can't stand fingerprints on the tv screen (thanks to my 2.5 yr old daughter).

My HT has to be straight, clean of dust or finger prints, nothing is allowed to be on the speakers or sub EVER and keeping up with firmware updates.

My books, I don't let anyone read them as most people have a way of destroying them when reading. I got book's bought over 20 years ago been read many times and they still look like new.

Cleaning. Not just my HT, but my whole house. It's a full time job when you've got a wife, two kids, two cats, and a guinea pig. Yeah, my mother in law bought the kids a freaking guinea pig. Gimme a break.
Anyone else who is anal about the home cleanliness thing, can i ask if you have air purifiers, if they help, and if so, what kind do you have? I've been wanting to get a couple but i keep thinking it's snake oil unless you spend a ton of cash on one of those whole house filtration systems.

Since my tv is in a corner and there's a little bit of wasted space back there, i'd love to be able to put one right behind the tv to hopefully minimize the dust.

Cd's and records. Every record in the same type of sleeve protector. Cd's alphabatized and in chronological order. Neither are ever loaned out.

Hardcover books are read with the dust jackets off to prevent damage and I rarely crack the spine unless it's a thick one and it can't be helped. Paperback books are read without creasing the spine at all and pages are never dog-eared to mark my place. These ae not lent out either.
