What happened to them? I thought they were planned?!

I have never heard any rumor of them coming out on Blu-ray which is an ongoing letdown for me since the series looked so good back when it was being shown on Universal HD.

Since the show's 40th anniversary is in 2016 I am hoping that we get long awaited news sometime in the coming year!

Any idea if this TV series will ever come out on Bluray? Are the masters copys in bad shape or something?

I doubt it since the show really did look nice on Universal HD--I didn't notice much noise in the print. I had heard a couple of years ago that Mill Creek Entertainment had the rights but I am not positive that this covers a blu ray release. I sent an email to an address on their webpage and got a canned reply that my interest had been forwarded to the group working on future releases.

I am still hoping that it comes out someday--I watch the show for 30 seconds and I am taken right back to my childhood and the late 70s come to life.
