You can't beat an 80s slasher film...

...that also features Caroline Munro singing a disco song!

Throw in Edmund Purdom...

... and that's one helluva Merry Christmas!

I just pre-ordered this title. The Slip cover alone is worth the price!!

What nationality is this film from? I know it's set in London but is it a UK production?

Got my copy of this today from Vinegar Syndrome. I am not a slipcover diehard, but they did a nice job with it (as usual). Very cool. I have the old Mondo Macabro DVD and have only seen the film in that print—I am assuming this is a major upgrade. I plan on watching it tomorrow night.

Pieces did have Bruce Le in it, to be fair...

Does anyone know how this compares to the German Bluray released back in 2014?

Mine's on the way from VS.In no way a good film but strangely entertaining and has repeat value. Bit of a cursed movie -some of the stars met premature sad ends. Alan Lake (suicide), Gerry Sundquist (Suicide) Kevin Lloyd (asphyxia caused by alchololism)

There is no German release. Just the Austrian one from Edition Tonfilm which looked worse than the DVD.

Watched this over the weekend and I wasn't impressed, don't get me wrong it has all the qualities of a good slasher film, gore, nudity, fun kill scenes etc. however the continuity director should have been fired on day one, the film jumps all over the place almost to the point of being hard to follow, the big reveal should have been a surprise but they telegraphed way to early. I was hoping I found another Christmas Horror Film to add to my annual watch list but I doubt I will watch this every year, maybe every 2 or 3 years.

Any film I plan on watching at least once every 3 years has to be a really good film. There are just too many movies to watch to have a large selection that are viewed on a regular basis.

I'm a big fan of THE BILL...and holy hell, did Kevin Lloyd look so different in this!

Give it another go this Christmas. I watched it for the first time, when I received it from VS upon release. Much like you, I liked it but thought it was a little “flat” and not very engaging.

I have since re-viewed and I love it. A sleazy, disintegrated Holiday film 🎥

For God's sake, watch the making of. Amazing 50 minute piece with Dick Randall hamming it up. You also get to see the original version of the 'Experience' scene. This should really be on YT, but since it's not, owners have privilege.

The best scene:
[Show spoiler]When they send her out to buy the dildo.

I watched this last year on Tubi (on my phone while passing time at my job. lol), and while there's plenty of memorable scenes and kills, the film's plot doesn't make any remote sense.
