I don't think it'll beat Kills. As ctujack mentioned, it'll keep going down upon each instalment and it doesn't help that like Kills, it'll not only play theatrically and on Peacock, but also have divisive WOM.

Yeah, $35-40 million for Halloween is my guess. I’m now expecting Smile will beat it in final gross (since Ends should make like half its total in opening weekend and Smile has shown legs).
Pretty sure Till is in limited release this weekend. |

Box Office: ‘Halloween Ends’ Opening to Subdued $43M After Also Launching on Peacock
David Gordon Green's horror is opening well behind 2021's 'Halloween Kills,' which likewise debuted day-and-date on the streamer. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/mo...0f0740c6f56c40 |

Neither of the previous two movies had legs either. Particularly Halloween Kills as another divisive movie and it made the majority of its total gross on opening weekend ($49 million opening, $92 million final).

Any movie with "Halloween" in the title is gonna fall off quick as soon as the titular holiday has come and gone. Same thing with Christmas movies (which is why most drop before Thanksgiving). Even the 2018 Halloween made the majority of its money in the first two weeks of release, and there was no Pandemic-induced day & date streaming release for that one.
