Sony KDL-40V2500 for me.

I want to upgrade, but this audio bug has the best of me!

It is no slouch, I just want something bigger.

TV screenshot!

I pleaded with her regarding the speakers, plus I was given a deal I could not pass up

As you can see we have too many TVs... its like one per room in the condo the same thing goes for Bluray players(4). Truth be told, I had been TV and HT crazy before getting serious with HIFI hence all the TVs and stuff. I even wanted to keep my def tech pro cinema 1000 for the bedroom but I couldn't get away with that so she/we gave it to her parents

Sorry for derailing the thread....I just had to let off some steam

Thanks! The Sony makes for a great picture, but 40 inches just isn't cutting it any longer!

Oh, right...audio upgrades first!

I agree! Its better than the XBR8 because its casing is far superior than the 8 and there is not much disparity in PQ between the 2. Plus the XBR 8 is way more expensive

Sony KDS-50A3000 SXRD. Pretty darn happy with it! Hope it lasts a while as they aren't making them (or any SXRDs, shame) anymore.
