The last 3 Chuck Norris releases by Kino were great and they were only 2K masters. So, I'm definitely looking forward to picking these up.

This would be the third buy of it on Blu that I have made. I really want all three in 4K though. I'm somewhat confused as to why only two of the three got 4K scans and new HD masters, but I guess it's because the original negative doesn't seem to have been available for the third film, which is why the IP was used.

If it's a BD-100, packed with 99.99GB of A/V, it's plausible.

Chuck Norris is the man, I hope there is more in the pipeline. He doesn't get talked about as much as Stallone, Arnie etc.. but he was every bit their equal in the 80s

All that's missing for at least an HD disc release would be Forced Vengeance, The Hitman and Hellbound.

I think the 3rd movie is a drop off overall from the first two. Still an entertaining movie, and you get to find out more about Braddock as it delves into some personal stuff from his past. But as awesome as the first two are, this is just a different type of movie. I don't think I have the blu either, pretty sure just the dvd, so I'll probably end up getting this set.

For the first movie, I think the original MGM blu looks better than the Shout personally. The color was kind of wonky looking on the Shout. Although I do like the extras included with the Shout, there was a commentary track. As far as I know, the second movie only got the one bare bones MGM disc. So with this new Kino set getting new scans across the board, I think I'll probably get it. I really dig these movies. Hoping for some cool extra features as well.

While I don't believe a date has been announced, Vinegar Syndrome is working on a 4K release of Sidekicks. I was excited when I heard about that one because it was a VHS favorite of mine as a kid, and I don't think it ever even got a DVD release, at least in the US.

I am really excited about this release. I have been hoping that someone would do these films justice and Kino delivered. 4K scans, lots of special features, and they all come together in a box instead of having to buy each one separately (you can buy them separately if you want). This is a day one purchase for me.
