Default What's your favorite purchase (PSN WISE)

*figured the other thread (the Regret one) was pretty popular, so I figured I'd do the opposite one*

What's your top three purchases PSN wise. Only games via PSN that are NOT available in the stores. Meaning Burnout Paradise doesn't count because you can buy that in the store.

1. Flower. Love Love Love this game. Fantastic. The replayability is decent, especially on boards like light up all the names in the sky, awaken the whole city, and get to the city unscathed, which can take a long time.

2. Cuboid. Really like this, and am looking forward to buying the booster pack later today.

3. Burn Zombie Burn. Really fun. A lot more fun than I thought it would be. Took me awhile to realize you get more points by lighting them on fire first. lol. Some of the levels seem insanely difficult and just the bar is set so unfairly high to get the bronze/silver/gold but I suppose the more you play the easier it gets.

Burn Zombie Burn has been nothing but non-stop fun. COD:W@W map pack 2 feat. Shi No Numa has been a blast too.

I got BZB too but it seems like it's WAYYY too hard. I can't even get a bronze on the last level. I have no idea how anyone could get the gold or silver on most of the levels.

its tough for me to really say
do i make a list based purely on fun factor ?? there were a few i really loved but it was short term didnt have long lasting appeal .. or do i do it based on bang for the buck ..

3 vs 3 NHL was very fun i had an absolute blast with it for about 2 weeks .. now its just too easy

flower is a very great tranquil experience but i can only play in short bursts like 20 mins max

BZB is awesome fun as well .. but can get aggravating spending 20 mins on a level just to fail and have to do over again ..

are we counting DLC and what not in this ???

patapon 2 is fantastic ..

I agree. The drive in level is killing me....I can't see how I get the bronze, much less a silver or gold.

Games are so samey these days. Probably because whever something 'new' comes out people have trouble getting it because it's not what they're used to. like Noby Noby boy or Every Day Shooter those were great games too.

In no particular order:
Droplitz
Noby Noby boy
Every Day Shooter

Also, FF7 if it counts...I'm loving that game on my PSP!! It's taken over my Killzone 2 trophy quest.

PlayStation Network Specific Games:
1. PixelJunk Monsters (by far number one)
2. Burn Zombie Burn
3. The Last Guy
4. Bionic Commando: Re-armed (this may move up on my list when they finally release trophies and I sink serious time into it)
5. Calling All Cars (they probably should have added more to this game but it's still an awesome 2-4 local multiplayer game)
7. PixelJunk Eden
6. flOw

Haven't bought any PSX/PSone Classics because I own a lot of them on disc, but if I didn't I would buy the following (I highly recommend these):
1. Metal Gear Solid
2. Twisted Metal 2
3. Resident Evil (RE5 was garbage...RE1 is one of the greatest games of all-time)
4. Final Fantasy VII (awesome RPG but the truth is there are many better RPGs from its time and before it. The first three aforementioned are perfect games that are responsible for creating new gaming genres.)

My favourite purchase was "How to play the violin without strings".It`s somehow quite soothing after a frantic day on the coalface.

Pixeljunk Monsters blows this away for me. #1 by a long shot.

Second to that SSHD

And a distant third is Last Guy just because the mechanics can really bug me.

Wipeout HD. Easy to learn, impossible to master.
I'm stuck in the middle.

Then Echocrome. I have always loved optical illusions.
