Default question about the funding of wallets....before I buy something

Okay I've bought many things off the PSN but never really paid attention to the funding of the wallet via credit card.

I want to buy the Cuboid booster pack bundle today which is 5.99.

Will it pull JUST ENOUGH to pay for that from the credit card to fund the wallet, or will it pull ten something as a minimum.

I have like 11 dollars in my account and don't want to overdraw it.

Didn't know if they'd automatically add 10-11 something and just leave the extra in the wallet, or if they only pull out as much as the purchase costs.

It'll add the exact amount you need, unless you request more. (This was changed in a firmware update, you USED to have to round it up to $5 increments).

not when I purchase those stupid LBP costumes ,

To me it seems like the absolute min charge is $5, otherwise it will be the exact amount.

Really? where are you from? Mine works just fine, I think I've added less then $1 to my wallet before (will check email statements when I get home to confirm).

MINIMUM CREDIT CARD CHARGE FOR ADDING FUNDS = $5

Anything being purchased which requires you to add more than $5 to make up the difference will give you the option to add only the exact difference to your wallet (ie. $5.01 or $13.83).

This has always been the case with me. And, I purchase content every week, so I've encountered the scenario MANY times to be able to verify it conclusively.

I live in bay area, CA.
I double checked my statements for the past 6 months, the min charge has been $5, all went to those stupid costumes.

Suggestion..
Do not put any money into your wallets.

When you go to buy something it should ask you if you want
it to put money into your wallet = to the price of the item.

Agree to this and it will.
