Yeah I'm glad there was a standard release from Lionsgate cuz I hate the giant packaging they've done with this and Midsommar (and I think Last Black Man in San Francisco). Wish they'd stick with how they released Marcel the Shell and Lamb

Disappointed there's no Director's Cut or anything, but the packaging looks great and the inclusion of the short film tips this over the edge to worth buying. Glad I didn't pay much for the regular 4K release.

My price was $58.83. They charged $7 for shipping and sales tax. Great set, though.

Didn’t love the movie, thought a directors cut would’ve been interesting and could’ve improved some parts of the movie, so I’ll keep my standard 4K.

The version you have is the directors cut.

The director said he might make a directors cut for this set a year ago or so. This disc does include deleted scenes so that’s probably what he decided to do was just put the scenes that were supposed to be in the directors cut as extra feature.

I think you are remembering wrong, here is what he said:

"We are going to do a special edition blu-ray next year and it will have commentary and more extra features. A worthy piece of physical media!"

He also had an entire year to edit because of COVID and added a few scenes in and made it longer for its theatrical release.
