What Blu(s) will you watch on the 4th of July? - Blu-ray Forum

Do have a tradition of watching a favorite movie or the same movie every year on the 4th? Do you watch war movies to celebrate patriotism? Do you watch movies that take place near or on the 4th of July?

From our family's collection, I think my parents and I will watch Live Free or Die Hard, and some episodes of Band of Brothers.

I would suppose other possibilities would Independence Day, The Patriot, and Black Hawk Down among others.

I do this every July 3rd:

The Patriot (I always start with this one)
The Rock
Live Free or Die Hard
Independence Day (I always end with this one)

I usually change up the middle 2, but I've included The Rock the last few years, and Live Free or Die Hard has become an all-time favorite of mine so this may be the menu for a while to come.

I won't be watching any blus. I will actually be watching a 2 disc DVD documentary about the Marines on Iwo Jima.... I get choked up every time I watch it

If I watch any film it's Born of the Fourth of July! Twilight Zone marathon on Sci Fi Channel is good for all you people that did NOT vote it the best Sci Fi series of all time. You just might change your mind........ X Files ha!

I plan on watching Live Free Or Die Hard and John Adams (I always watch Jaws and Jaws II even though they are not on Blu-ray yet).

Just go a delivery last night (Warlords, Saints and Soldiers, and North Face). I will probaly watch the last two unless I get any more delieverd today.

We watched ID4 last year. We like to watch giant popcorn blockbusters full of disaster for some reason...

Maybe "The Rock" in the afternoon, then a BBQ, then setting off the big bag of fireworks I bought a few months ago!(May it NOT rain!)
